Ci sone due tipi: M.66 e M.66/85. Che è M.66 o M.66/85?

Alla ricerca di una foto di innesco d'spoletta del disegno in basso.

Re: Foto di un spoletta M.66 / M.66/85 austro ungarico
Hi Stefan, feel free to write in english.
from what I know, M66 and 66/85K differs from material with wich they are made:
M66 is Zinkupfer, M66/85K is brass (late model zamac and brass). Also M66/85K differs in train powder made with Kornpulver (for this reason the K after 66/85)
Not easy for me mark zinkupfer from brass...
Also, Did you know if all primer has safety pin?
Here some pics I think all 66/85K brass zamac 66/85K
regards

Re: Foto di un spoletta M.66 / M.66/85 austro ungarico
Hi Fausto,
incredible - if nobody has a complete M.66 - you have one :-)
Your picture with the safety pin is exactly what I was looking for - I think you know why ;-)
I don't know if all had a safety pin but I think yes. I did never see the primer/Innesco like on my first drawing.
Zinkkupfer (Cu / Zn) is just another name for Messing/Brass/Ottone. But I think the later models where made from brass. The (maybe) early models are not made from zamac (Zn/Al), the alloy is either Weißmetall / White metal (Sn / Pb) or an alloy from Sn & Zn.

Hi Stefan,
this difference in material was shown on Italian ww1 manual. Maybe in Zinkupfer alloy, copper is present in higher percentage than common brass described for M66/85K.
it's only a guess
